I purchased this unit as a replacement for the standard charger in our Coachman Pastiche. The battery is a 110ah driving the usual electrics plus a Powrtouch mover. The battery is 1 year old. After a weekend on a location site the battery was not up to the job of moving the van.After investigation (battery soon charged back up to 14.7 volts so was deemed as good - 12.85v after 24 hours), I decided on a change of charger ( the standard delivers only 13.8v, thus only charging the battery to 85% of its true potential). The charger arrived complete with all possible accessories right down to the connectors and a comprehensive installation diagram. A nice touch. Full installation took less then an hour and looked thoroughly professional due to the supplied kit. In operation, what a difference. 14.7v a turn on, dropping to maintenance of 13.8v made all the difference. The extra amps available with this unit also makes charging quicker when using a generator on the CL (and yes, although I have a generator, I hate using it and only do so as a last resort) In use, the charger remains cool.When I eventually change the battery to a Elecsol a good feature is the ability to change the charge voltage to 14.4v which is the peak for this type of battery. As you can guess, I can only recommend this unit. Do not hesitate in purchasing.
